CommunityLink offers two certification paths — one for individuals who want to help communities, and one for businesses that want to give back responsibly.
PATH 1: FOR INDIVIDUALS
Certifies Community Resource Specialist (CCRS)
For students, community members, volunteers, and community health workers
Become certified to help identify, verify, and share trusted community resources.
As a CCRS, you’ll learn how to:
- Find and document local support services
- Understand what makes a resource trustworthy
- Support access to food, housing, healthcare, education, and more
- Strengthen community well-being through accurate information
- Become part of a growing network of community helpers
- No prior experience required — just a desire to help.
- Free certification
- Flexible, self-paced
- Open to students, CHWs, and community members
PATH 2: FOR BUSINESSES
Direct Impact Business Certification
For businesses, nonprofits, clinics, and community partners
This certification is for organizations that want to offer services responsibly, ethically, and with real community benefit.
Certified businesses learn how to:
- Offer free or reduced-cost services in a responsible way
- Understand community needs and access gaps
- Align business offerings with real community impact
- Prepare to list verified offerings through CommunityLink
- Certification is required before any business offerings are shared.
